Genaral Santos City – Two former workers of Lynez Manpower Services who worked at Mabuhay LinMax Service Station received P3,000.00 each as refund for their cash bond , after an amicable settlement was reached between them and the responding party.

Arvin V. Aniban and Genevieve L. Masaglang filed the RFA on April 25, 2017 for their unclaimed cash bond and underpayment of their salaries. Aniban worked as pump assistant on Jan. 2015 to Dec. 2015 while Masaglang on June 2015 to March 2016.

During the third scheduled hearing, on May 8, 2017, Aniban, Masaglang, Ailyn Balayo ,representative of Lynez Manpower Services and Ignacio Dumaran of Mabuhay LinMax Service Station appeared before SEADO James D. Guazo.

On May 22, 2017, Mr. Ignacio Dumaran, expressed that as per their records Aniban and Masaglang unclaimed cash bond was P2,250.00 and P2,750.00 respectively. Mr. Dumaran granted the appeal of the requesting party to pay each of them the amount of P3,000.00 and give them certificate of employment.

“Nagpapasalamat kami sa NCMB na tumulong para maibigay sa amin ang aming cash bond at nagbigay pa sa amin ng pamasahe para maka dalo kami sa mga hearing”, Aniban and Masaglang said.

The SENA program is an administrative approach to provide a speedy, impartial and accessible settlement procedure for all complaints arising from employee-employer relations. All labor and employment disputes shall undergo a 30-day mandatory conciliation-mediation process to effect settlement.
