General Santos City – The Regional Conciliation and Mediation Branch XII and the Association of Industrial Peace Advocates Soccsksargen (AIPA-S) conducted a trainers training on Singapore’s Productivity and Innovation in Labour Management on May 3 – 4, 2017 at Southern Christian College Nature Farm at Midsayap, North Cotabato.

This activity is in line with RCMB12 and AIPA-s commitment to implement the Action Plan on capacity Building Program on Productivity benchmarking Singapore by way of a client-focused activity through an intensified advocacy works on stable labor management relations and productivity.

The participants received a very warm welcome from Southern Christian College President, Mr. Edwin T. Balaki during the courtesy call of the group at his office.

The speakers aside from the NCMB group were the social partners who have participated in the capacity program on productivity held in Singapore. They were Ms. Elaine Mae Mayol, Ms. Kemberly Vingno and Mr. Albert Mendoza who discussed Industrial Relation in Singapore, Singapore’s History and Unionism in Singapore respectively.

During the afternoon of the first day, the participants were treated to a tour at the Southern Christian College Campus and its facilities including its income generating projects.

The branch also presented its 2017 annual budget during the officers meeting in the evening of the first day.
There were a total of 29 social partners coming from the 12 different companies, 9 organized and 3 unorganized attended the training.
